This is the first gold medal from Asian games for Bangladesh. It is one of the historical achievements for Bangladesh. And most importantly it’s come from the cricket. This is the first time cricket include in Asian games. 
The game is played like Twenty 20 format. In The final Bangladesh played against Afghanistan. Afghanistan also a new comer in cricket and the played this event very wall. They reach final for bit Pakistan on semi. 
Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat first. After 20 over them abele to scour 118 lost of 8 wickets. Bangladeshi captain Mohommod Ashraful used his bowler’s very wall and its make really hard for Afghan time to score freely. 119 is not a big chase for Bangladesh. Naeem Islam scored 34. Most importantly Sabbir Rahman scored unbitten 33 runs from only 18 balls with 3 sixes. He got the gold medal for the team.
